Biography

Originally hailing from Mission, British Columbia, Jason began playing saxophone at the age of 12, continuing through high school and post secondary education. While studying at McGill University in Montreal, Jason was the winner of the prestigious Schulich Scholarship Award in 2006 and again in 2007. He has shared the stage with a variety of internationally renowned artists including: Blue Note recording artist Kurt Elling, Trinidadian Soca singer David Rudder and Joe LaBarbera. He is currently the leader of The Office Party, featuring Joe Sullivan (trumpet), Adam Over (bass) and Andre White (drums), as well as the Jason Stillman Quintet, featuring Josh Rager (piano), Chris Bullock (tenor saxophone), Paul Rushka (bass) and David Laing (drums). Jason currently resides in Montreal and is on faculty at the Conservatory of Music at McGill University.
